‘One of the most desirable properties' in York hits the market
A stunning Victorian home – described as 'one of the most desirable properties' in York – has hit the market.
Furlong House, in Mount Vale, is for sale with an asking price of £1.25 million.
Ashtons is handling the sale of the seven-bedroom end of terrace home and said it offers 'the rare opportunity to acquire a fantastically well-balanced family house in one of the most prestigious and desirable locations in the city'.
The property was originally constructed in 1838 with later additions made during the 19th and 20th centuries.
It has also recently undergone an extensive refurbishment 'with a no expense spared', according to Ashtons.
This has included replacing hardwood sash windows, mosaic tiled floors, fitting a handcrafted kitchen – and installing a wine cellar.
